Miss Fit Academy Presents A Halloween Double Feature!

Aaahhhhhhh, Halloween. That time of year when adults are actively encouraged to dress-up as sexy pizza, famous artwork, or a pile of babies.  Looking for some creatures of the night during this Halloween season? Look no further than Miss Fit Academy!
Our teachers and students have been working overtime to bring you a double feature event.

Poletergeist + The Aerial Witch Project

VIP tickets to the party have already sold out, but a small number of general admission tickets are still available. All will be welcomed, but costumes are always encouraged around this time of year. You can always come as you are (or as Kurt Cobain. It's whatever) and enjoy the complimentary treats and beverages. Come for the goodies, but stay for the acrobatic, high-flying witches on (no, not brooms.) aerial silks and hoops (we're only figuratively enchanting;-). As the level of talent begins to seep into your skull you'll feel an urge to stay and experience the fantasy spook-fest in the pole room. But you'll have to wait to see the sexy styles of the Poletergeist sirens, for the intermission. Intermission is an always popular event where audience members participate in games and maybe even win prizes!

The witching hour begins at 5pm on Sunday October 25th, the show starts at 5:30. Miss Fit Academy is located at 265 Hermitage Ave, slightly less than a mile from down-town Nashville.  As always, we have a large dedicated parking lot but space will be available in the surrounding overflow parking lots.

See you there! xoxo

Aren't they pretty!?
Halloween is just around the corner- but you already know that because everything just sneaks up on you because LIFE!! big and bold with two exclamation marks that often leads to hectic days and long nights. Who has time to pumpkin properly?

You do, with these four no-carve pumpkin tutorials! Use real pumpkins or pick some up at a craft store and have them forever. Let's dive in...

Melted-Crayon Pumpkin

Materials: pumpkin
                 crayons
                 glue
                 hair dryer

Settle in with the hair dryer because melting the crayons can take awhile, but it's satisfying and weirdly zen work watching the wax melt into different colors!

Step 1: Glue half a crayon over the each raised part of the pumpkin.

Candy Corn Pumpkin

                 white & yellow paint
                 tape

We opted to use spray paint, but any ole craft paint will do fine. This one is so easy a child has literally done it.

Step 1: Divide the pumpkin into rough thirds, covering the middle.
